Our Story

The Story behind Ahora

An embodied life
rooted in presence

Ahora began with a small tattoo on my left wrist that I got while working remotely from Mexico in 2022. The word “Ahora”, Spanish for now, became my daily reminder to stop trying to control life and start truly living it.

Through years of inner exploration, I discovered that true freedom isn’t found in changing our circumstances, but in transforming the relationship we have with ourselves. To me, embodied living is learning to meet life with presence instead of reacting from fear, pressure, or unconscious patterns.

Today, my work is devoted to helping others cultivate an inner foundation to an embodied life, from which you can live, love, and lead with greater presence, authenticity, and trust. Returning to Ahora remains a daily practice, and I’m humbled to walk this path alongside you.

The Art of Living

"We cannot always choose what life brings us, but we can cultivate the inner foundation from which we meet it. Ultimately, that shapes the quality of our lives, our relationships, and everything we create."

My embodiment journey

From survival to presence and aliveness

Long before Ahora became something I could share with others, it transformed my own life.

I was born into instability, shaped by an early environment of fear, scarcity, emotional unpredictability, and disconnection. From a young age, my nervous system learned survival. It shaped the way I related to myself, to others, and to life, without me even realizing it.

I traveled the world, built a successful corporate career, surrounded myself with ambitious and inspiring people, and ticked all the societal boxes. From the outside, life looked exciting and successful, yet internally I often felt disconnected, restless, exhausted, and unfulfilled. My nervous system came with me, wherever I went.

I kept looking for freedom everywhere outside myself until I eventually turned inwards. Over the years, through inner work, devoted study, meditation, somatic practice, and countless moments of returning to myself, I gradually cultivated a calmer nervous system, a quieter mind, a deeper connection with myself, and a way of living rooted in presence rather than pressure.

If you’d like to hear the full story that shaped Ahora, I share it openly in this special podcast episode.

My Mission as an Embodiment Coach

Building a movement for embodied living
and leadership

I believe the world needs more people who can be deeply present, with themselves, with others, and with life. I believe that lasting change begins within, and that by transforming the relationship we have with ourselves, we naturally transform the way we relate to others, lead, and contribute to the world.

That is the mission behind Ahora: a growing movement for embodied living and leadership, devoted to helping people cultivate the inner foundation from which they can create lives rooted in presence, resilience and authenticity.

Over the years, I have guided more than 1,000 people through retreats, mentorships, workshops, and transformational experiences. My work continues to grow through the Ahora Alchemy Method™, the Ahora Alchemy Podcast, and programs devoted to embodied living and conscious leadership.

The Meaning behind "Ahora"

An invitation to live in the now

Our logo was intentionally designed as a visual reminder of our philosophy.

The three “A”s symbolize the three places from which we can live:

  • the past,
  • the future,
  • or the present moment.

The outer “A”s represent how easily we become pulled into memories, regrets, worries, expectations, or the endless search for what comes next.

The centre “A” is an invitation to anchor yourself in the present moment, the only place where life can truly be experienced.

To me, this is the essence of The Art of Living: not escaping the past or controlling the future, but learning to meet life with presence, resilience, and an open heart.

Every time you see the Ahora symbol, I hope that it gently reminds you to return to the only place where life can truly be lived: now.

... means NOW.

The art of living

"More than a name, Ahora is a practice, a daily invitation to return to the present moment, where our greatest freedom and deepest connection begin. It is here that we learn the art of living."

A living framework for lasting transformation

The Ahora Alchemy Method™

Through years of learning from teachers around the world, I began translating ancient wisdom into a practical and grounded approach for modern life. Over time, these experiences evolved into the Ahora Alchemy Method™.

Rooted in the philosophy of The Art of Living, this living framework weaves together ancient wisdom, modern neuroscience, somatics, trauma-informed approaches, and relational practices to support lasting transformation.

Rather than following a linear path or offering quick fixes, it invites you into an ongoing journey through five interconnected foundations. As your awareness deepens, each pillar continues to strengthen the others, supporting a lifetime of embodied living and leadership.

Its purpose is to help you reconnect with your own inner wisdom, cultivate a strong inner foundation, and empower you to create a life rooted in presence, authenticity, and meaningful impact.

Frequently asked questions

FAQ: Embodied life & My role as an embodiment coach

An embodiment coach helps you reconnect with your body, emotions, nervous system, and inner wisdom so you can respond to life from presence rather than unconscious survival patterns. My role is to guide you in cultivating the inner foundation from which resilience, compassion, authenticity, and self-trust naturally emerge. From that foundation, you begin to lead yourself, your relationships, and your life with greater presence, courage, and intention.

A traditional coach often helps you understand your patterns, shift your perspective, and create new strategies. An embodiment coach bridges the gap between knowing and living by involving the body, nervous system, and emotions. I recognize that lasting transformation happens when insight is not only understood intellectually, but also felt, integrated, and embodied.

An embodied life is one rooted in presence. It means fully participating in life, savouring its blessings while meeting its inevitable challenges with an open heart. Rather than living only in your head or being driven by unconscious survival patterns, you become grounded in your body, experiencing life more deeply through your senses, relationships, and everyday moments.

Embodied life coaching is the approach through which that transformation unfolds. It integrates mindset, somatic practices, nervous system regulation, conscious awareness, and trauma-informed approaches to support lasting transformation. Rather than simply changing the way you think, it helps you cultivate the inner foundation from which you can live, love, and lead.

Embodied life coaching may be right for you if you’ve invested in personal growth, mindset work, or intellectual understanding, yet still find yourself repeating the same patterns. Lasting transformation doesn’t come from knowing more, it comes from embodying what you already know. Rather than adding more information, this work helps you integrate wisdom into your daily life.

If you’re ready to experience life more deeply, cultivate more meaningful relationships, and lead from your whole being rather than only your mind, this work offers a different approach from traditional coaching or talking therapies.

If this resonates with you, I’d love to meet you for an exploratory call and explore whether this journey is the right fit for you.

Absolutely. Embodiment coaching complements many therapeutic approaches, counselling, or other healing modalities. While therapy often focuses on understanding and processing the past, embodiment coaching helps you integrate those insights through the body, your nervous system, and daily life.

Rather than replacing professional mental health support, my work invites you to cultivate greater presence, emotional resilience, and a deeper relationship with yourself alongside any other support you may already be receiving.

Every session is unique and guided by what feels most present in the moment. Together, we create a safe space to slow down and explore what lies beneath your thoughts, emotions, and patterns.

Depending on your needs, sessions may include nervous system regulation, trauma-informed somatic practices, meditation, and compassionate conversation in a space where all of you is welcome.

The intention is to gently release what no longer serves you, reconnect with your inner wisdom, and cultivate greater self-compassion. My approach is intuitive, grounded in lived experience, and informed by science-backed practices.

Embodiment coaching is about remembering who you are beneath the layers of stress, conditioning, and self-protection.

Over time, many people experience:

  • Greater emotional resilience and nervous system regulation
  • More self-trust and confidence in their decisions
  • Less overwhelm, perfectionism, and people-pleasing
  • Deeper presence in relationships and everyday life
  • A stronger sense of purpose, authenticity, and inner freedom

Every journey is unique, but the common thread is learning to live, love, and lead from a more embodied place.

Yes. Embodiment coaching and somatic practices can support anxiety, burnout, chronic stress, and emotional overwhelm. By working with the body and nervous system, it helps you cultivate greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and inner safety.

Rather than simply managing symptoms, we explore the deeper patterns beneath them, supporting lasting change from the inside out.

While it is not a substitute for medical or psychological treatment, it can be a valuable complement to your overall wellbeing.
